After transitioning out of his medical career, community organiser and activist, Dr Bilal Hassam, went on to hold several leadership positions within the faith-led humanitarian sector and Muslim-run media.

In 2020, he founded TheMuslimAgency.com, a bespoke business development consultancy focused on furthering the reach, impact and success of those working within Muslim spaces. Bilal is a keen writer, having been published across mainstream media, and an artist, whose platform, Muslimplicity, has been exploring how artificial intelligence can augment innovative Islamic art.

Born and raised in the UK, he recently moved to Cape Town, South Africa, where he lives with his wife and two children and is currently developing a gold-standard leadership development programme for young Muslims of South Africa.
