Mohammed Ali is an artist, educator and curator born and raised in the UK. He was best known for melding together street-art and islamic script and patterns combining meaningful messages that connect people of all faith in multicultural cities across the globe. Before arabic-influenced graffiti had become popular across the Middle-East, Mohammed Ali has been pioneering his style, influencing artists the world over.
Mohammed Ali has been a pioneer in the street-art movement, fusing street art with Islamic script and patterns, delivering powerful and moving messages. Art meets faith, identity and social change in Ali’s work, adorning the canvas of walls and public spaces and continues to change the visual landscapes of the cities we live in. His art has inspired and informed a new generation across the globe, to boldly express their identity and ideals. He has created truly immersive experiences for audiences throughout the world. From street canvases in New York, Amsterdam, London and Melbourne, to intimate performances in the Vatican, Ali has used his art and collaborations with critically acclaimed musicians and poets to produce unique experiences.
His work serves as a bridge, bringing together communities divided by culture, faith and ethnicity. Ali’s complex exploration of challenging social issues through Art, provide transformative and radical tools to counteract challenges facing society.
In 2008 Ali established Soul City Arts a global arts movement bringing together artists, activists and communities. It was driven by a shared commitment to transform society. Ali describes his approach as ‘shifting mindsets’. His formula is to combine creative expressions with strategic visioning, and has been awarded commissions with international NGO’s, corporations, and charities.

Edris Khamissa is an International Consultant in Education and Human Development. He began his career as a teacher of English. His passion and expertise for the subject culminated in his nomination as the Chairman of the English Society of South Africa. He has been a headteacher of three schools. He has conducted numerous workshops in Australia, United States, Canada, Malaysia, Kosovo, England, Jeddah,Doha,Dubai, Nigeria, Lusaka, Zimbabwe ,Mozambique, Botswana,Bangkok ,Pakistan,Rome, Bangladesh and throughout South Africa. His topics range from Leadership, Youth Development, Moving from Efficiency to Effectiveness to Excellence, From Information to Transformation, Moving from Good to Great, Inspiring Teachers, Creativity in Schools, Dynamics of Marriage, Parenting in the 21st Century, Family Dynamics in the 21st Century and Project Management .He promotes excellence wherever he goes. He was one of the founding members of the AMS (Association of Muslim Schools) in South Africa. He is an advisory member of IBERR – International Board of Educational Research and Resources. He is the co-author of the IBERR manual for Schools.
His expertise is in self-development and curriculum design. His creativity made him a dynamic lecturer in Didactic and Methodology at IPSA (International Peace University of South Africa). He also conducts inservice training for business corporations. As a Parenting Expert and a Marriage Counsellor, he conducts workshops on these topics.
He conducts motivation and training for Business Corporations .His particular focus is in soft-schools. Youth Leadership is another area of his focus. He is a regular guest on National and Community Radio Stations. His attendees find his programmes life changing. He believes that we should take ownership of our lives. This is clearly evident in his Personal Empowerment seminars/workshops.
One of his other specialities is motivating and training nursing- staff. This has in many ways resulted in improved patient perceptions-in some instances from mediocrity to excellence.
He is also the founder of a public speaking academy. He believes that the benefits that accrue from proficiency in public speaking skills cannot be quantified. .He together with Adv Mohamed Vahed have just completed writing their book, The Dynamics of Public Speaking from an Islamic Perspective.
He is a weekly guest on four community radio stations. One of his unique features is his ability to respond to the diverse needs of the community. He not only identifies the challenges but he is able to provide solutions. All in all he is a dynamic individual with diverse talents.

Shaykh Ebrahim I. Bham is born and raised in South Africa. He has attained his masters in the Islamic sciences and theology under great traditional scholars. Shaykh Ebrahim I. Bham is known to be one of the most active scholars in South Africa for education, development, advocacy and interfaith. He has served in various capacities in South Africa at Newtown Islamic Institute, Al-aqsa Institute, Mayfair Jame Masjid, and Hamidia Masjid.
He frequently travels the world for da’wah and lectures, including countries such as Australia, United Kingdom, USA, Somalia, Palestine, Eygpt, Turkey, Sri Lanka & Malawi.
Shaykh Ebrahim I. Bham is also the founder member and vice chairman of Johannesburg Muslim School, executive committee member of National Religious Leaders Forum (Initiated By South Africans for Greater Liaison between Religious Groups and Government), executive member of Muslim AIDS Programme (MAP), national trustee of Moral Regeneration Movement (Working towards the improvement of morality amongst South Africans) and also an executive member of the United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA).

Wael Ibrahim is the founder of two institutions, namely Serving Islam Team – HK – and Connect Institute. In the past couple of years he has conducted numerous workshops, seminars, keynote speeches, and one-on-one coaching sessions. He is a very keen researcher on the subject of Pornography addiction and the scientific methods of recovery. He is a holder of BA in Islamic studies and comparative religion and now the author of a series of books to come titled #CHANGE. He had trained a lot of people around the world on the subjects of self-development, public speaking and leadership.

Sheikh Daood Butt was born and raised in Montreal, Canada and has always had a desire to learn and teach Islam. Following secondary studies, he obtained a degree in Automotive Technology and was nominated amongst Canada’s Top Graduates of 2002. During this time, he studied with local Imams and was hired as an Imam and Qur’an instructor at a local mosque. He went on to study at the Islamic University of Madinah for seven years, during which he completed a Diploma in Arabic Language followed by a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and Islamic Da’wah from the Faculty of Da’wah and Usool Ad-Deen in 2010.
Upon returning to Montreal he was involved in various Da’wah activities including giving lectures and khutbahs in English, French, and Arabic. He has always been especially interested in youth related programs and is quick to develop a rapport with them. With an eagerness to continue learning Islam, Shaykh Daood completed a Master of Arts Degree with Excellence in Islamic and Other Civilizations at the International Islamic University in Malaysia.
Most recently he was awarded Imam of the Year for 2015 in Mississauga, Canada. Sheikh Daood hates wasting time and being late, and is keen on attendance so much so that upon completing his Arabic Diploma he was awarded a certificate for not having been late a single class. He maintains a high level of respect for his teachers, and always remembers fine details about the people he meets. He is a jack of all trades, and enjoys cars, perfume, sunglasses, and most of all, playing with his two daughters!
