Our client, a growing manufacturer in the personal and beauty care industry is eager to recruit a Supply Planner for their Supply Chain Team. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work with all level within the organization including 3rd party suppliers, co-packers as well as in-house Supply Chain, Customer Service and Logistics teams to ensure the timely fulfillment of customer orders. This position requires a good overall business sense since you will be responsible for planning for both components and finished goods Supply Chain Planning, Master Production Planning and inventory planning.
Requirements
- BS DEGREE IS REQUIRED
- 2 + YEARS EXPERIENCE [ more is better] IN SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT/ SUPPLY PLANNING IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING (FOOD COSMETICS, PHARMACEUTICALS CHEMICALS
- EXPERIENCE IN INVENTORY MANAGEMENT IN SUPPORT OF DISTRIBUTION
- EXPERIENCE IN SUPPLY PLANNING
- PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS A PLUS [ CPIM CSCP ETC]
- Experience with contract manufacturing / third party manufacturing a plus
- Experience with Bills of Material [BOM] and SLOB , Safety Stock, EOQ, MOQ, ABC Analysis
- EXPERIENCED USER OF EXCEL. WORD. POWERPOINT AS WELL AS EXPERIENCE IN AN ERP ENVIRONMENT
