Are you an experienced Senior Structural Designer with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Designer to work at their company in Overland Park, KS(Hybrid).

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Act as a Senior Structural Designer with a strong background in Offshore/Marine projects (minimum 11 years of experience required).
• Review project requirements and determine the appropriate format and content for deliverables.
• Ensure that deliverables comply with applicable codes and standards.
• Solve complex technical problems and provide consultation and training as needed.
• Coordinate deliverables across design teams to minimize interference and errors.
• Collaborate with other design groups to exchange necessary project data and support design development.
• Execute advanced-level tasks using electronic applications, standards, and document control procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians.
• Ensure project outputs are accurate and in compliance with the Quality Program.
• Guide and support teams in leveraging applications to enhance workflows and project delivery.
• Create and develop design deliverables from various inputs, including performing computations (e.g., quantity takeoffs, dimensional checks).
• Maintain a strong understanding of client needs, both internal and external, while aligning design work accordingly.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices, sharing knowledge with peers and project teams.

Qualifications:

• Autodesk AutoCAD
• SmartPlant 3D
• Navisworks
• Bluebeam
• Knowledge of Aveva E3D is preferred but not required.
