From large-scale industrial projects to preliminary feasibility studies, our goal is to provide value through creative and cost-effective design solutions. We currently have 4 locations across Texas and growing: Houston, The Woodlands, Austin and San Antonio.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will be a proven leader with demonstrated supervisory or management experience leading and developing a team. These activities include supervising and monitoring projects in progress in the department to ensure that work is executed on time and in accordance with the client’s requirements and within company policies, procedures, and standards. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide a team of 2-3 Project Managers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and project success.
  • Collaborate with your team to establish a culture of continuous improvement, striving to have all staff answer 10 critical questions for project success.
  • Conduct Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and regular performance reviews with staff members, including input from the Practice Leader and Department Manager.
  • Identify and develop team-specific training needs and requirements to enhance the skills and capabilities of your team members.
  • Review and analyze time and expenses for all staff in the team, collaborating with Project Managers to ensure accurate project billings.
  • Ensure that all invoices are reviewed within established timeframes, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with billing protocols.
  • Monitor project schedules for the entire team, ensuring that projects are on track and meeting client expectations.
  • Optimize team utilization, assigning resources effectively to meet project demands and maintain high productivity.
  • Develop and maintain a task/project list for the team, fostering clear communication, goal-setting, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Extensive civil engineering experience with a minimum of 10 years in roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing project teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budget management, and project billing.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
