Total Rewards Leader

Position Summary

A global manufacturing organization is seeking a highly experienced Total Rewards Leader at the Senior Director level to develop and execute a comprehensive total rewards strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a global compensation philosophy and strategy aligned with business goals
  • Oversee annual merit reviews, goal-setting, and compensation planning processes
  • Lead executive compensation programs and prepare related disclosures for proxy statements
  • Conduct and analyze salary surveys and market data to ensure competitiveness and internal equity
  • Recommend structures for salary, bonuses, long-term incentives, and policies to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; implement process changes as needed
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and business leaders to address compensation needs and provide strategic solutions
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation trends, analysis, and recommendations
  • Stay current on industry best practices and trends to continuously improve programs
  • Lead benefits strategy in partnership with benefits team, ensuring compliance and alignment with company objectives
  • Partner with executive leadership to support Board and compensation committee materials

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CCP preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 years of HR experience, with at least 10 years in compensation management in a global, corporate, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in compensation analysis tools (e.g., Towers Watson, Radford, Culpepper, O-Net, HRIS)
  • Deep knowledge of compensation practices, market trends, and compliance requirements
  • Strong strategic thinking and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and the Board.
