This is a remote position working from home in Orlando, FL. Our team is looking for top talent in the Orlando to work remotely 90% of the time and onsite at shows 10% of the time. This role supports the Exhibit Sales Consultant and plays a key part in the overall sales process and show success. You will assist with sales administration, lead generation and tracking, customer communications, and event coordination sales tasks for the Oklahoma City Home & Garden Show and the OKC Home & Outdoor Living Show. Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide administrative and sales support to the Exhibit Sales Consultant.
  • Assist in managing exhibitor databases and help maintain accurate records of exhibitor communications in CRM.
  • Constantly build and maintain sales database using existing processes/guidelines for documenting records
  • Develop and maintain relationships with exhibitors; ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent service.
  • Track and follow up on sales leads and incoming inquiries.
  • Assist in outbound communication with exhibitors regarding deadlines, booth requirements, etc.
  • Support in preparing sales related show materials, reports and marketing documents.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of client needs.
  • Assist with onsite floor management and move-in/move-out logistics during show dates.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide status updates on assigned tasks.
  • Support the sales team with follow-up communications including collection reminders.
  • Contribute ideas to improve customer service and exhibitor satisfaction.
  • Through use of our consumer research, understand our attendee demographic and use this information to help generate leads for the Exhibit Sales Consultant.
  • Constantly seek leads for potential exhibitors from every possible source such as advertisements in other media, internet sources, competitive shows, exhibitors from other Marketplace Events shows, association members, etc.
  • Attend appropriate competitive shows/events to gather leads.
  • Understand our show features, marketing/promotional plan and use this information to generate leads.
  • Attend weekly video chats with manager and team, attend occasional in-person meetings/training with manager, team and/or clients, and attend annual in-person company meeting.
  • Bring personal energy, enthusiasm, and flair as a member of the sales team, willing to put in whatever hours are necessary to get the job done
  • Other duties as required

Knowledge and Abilities :

  • 1-2 years of proven sales experience required, preferably within a telephone-based, inside sales, outbound calling environment
  • College/University degree preferred
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentation skills required
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet conflicting deadlines
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness and stress management skills
  • Experience in events including home shows is a plus!
