Job Description

A top-tier construction firm is seeking a National Project Executive to lead complex, large-scale projects—including data centers, semiconductor, and advanced technology builds —from preconstruction through closeout. This role oversees all phases of the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing design-build projects , large teams, and client relationships on a national scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, procurement, scheduling, construction, and closeout
  • Own project financials including forecasting, profitability, and fee retention
  • Serve as main point of contact for the client; manage all stakeholder communications
  • Guide design-build alignment to meet both owner and internal objectives
  • Build and lead high-performing project teams, ensuring hiring, mentoring, and retention
  • Oversee quality control, safety, change orders, and monthly billings
  • Drive pursuit efforts, RFP responses, estimating reviews, and preconstruction deliverables
  • Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure successful execution
  • Foster long-term partnerships with clients and industry professionals

Qualifications

  • 15–20+ years of experience managing large, complex commercial or mission critical projects
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
  • Deep knowledge of construction methods, codes, building systems, and MEP coordination
  • Strong financial and operational acumen; experience managing P&L and GMP contracts
  • Proficiency in tools like Procore, P6, Bluebeam, and other project management platforms
  • Experience leading self-perform work and large project teams (30+ staff)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with high-tech environments such as clean rooms, labs, or data centers
