Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Data Product Manager to join a growing client in Greenwood Village, CO.

Location: Greenwood Village, CO

Onsite expectation: 4 days onsite per week

Duration: 6-month contract to start, with strong potential for long-term extension

Pay range: $65-75/hr

Are you a strategic, data-savvy product leader who thrives at the intersection of business needs, technical execution, and data insights? We are seeking a Data Product Lead to drive forward an exciting initiative with over 20 active projects and complex data dependencies.

This is not a traditional data leadership role. We’re looking for someone who deeply understands enterprise product development and can translate data capabilities into business value. You’ll work closely with engineering teams, hold them accountable, and ensure our data products are reliable, efficient, and actionable.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and execution of data-rich products across the portfolio
• Aggregate and prioritize data requests from multiple teams and sources
• Translate complex data dependencies into clear, strategic product roadmaps
• Communicate effectively with executives, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Drive adoption and education around dashboards and data tools
• Ensure data governance, compliance, and high-quality standards
• Use Agile/Kanban methodologies to manage project priorities and execution

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a technical product leader in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of data foundations and analytics-driven product development
• Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and turn it into actionable strategy
• Experience working with engineering teams and holding them accountable
• Passion for data-driven decision-making and product innovation
• Familiarity with tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, and Power BI
• Bonus: Experience with SQL, video products, or data governance/compliance
