Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Duration: 12 months

Shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Louisville, KY 40223

Pay Rate: $30.00/Hour on W2

Job Description:

  • The candidate will serve as a liaison for daily interactions with both internal and external customers.
  • This role is responsible for consistently maintaining daily service and service sales order reports, processing staged orders, and interacting with warehouses, freight carriers, and other necessary contacts.
  • The candidate will proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact customer shipments to ensure delivery requirements are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus by providing the highest levels of customer service in a demanding and fast-paced environment on a consistent daily basis.
  • Manage service and service sales orders to ensure same-day shipment when orders are booked and stock is available in local warehouses.
  • Prioritize logistics needs as required and communicate effectively with warehouse operations and logistics teams to meet delivery requirements.
  • Follow established processes and procedures to ensure daily execution of operating standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Communicate professionally and positively with various individuals and groups, both internally and externally.

Experience and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of customer service, supply chain, logistics, and transportation service requirements to ensure effective day-to-day order management.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with logistics, ERP, and warehouse-related software.
