We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Gaming Product Manager to join our dynamic team who are focused on developing innovative, engaging mini-games for our connected TV platform. In this role, you will lead the expansion of our mini-games from TV into Samsung’s Mobile platform. This role will own end-to-end development from initial concept through launch. Collaborating closely with internal, cross-functional stakeholders, third-party developers, and external vendors, you will ensure each project is integrated flawlessly, and in turn, excites, delights and grow our Mobile user base.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Working with our TV and Mobile product managers, lead the end-to-end development process for mini-games for Mobile, from conception and scoping to execution, release, and live operations.
  • Define project scope clearly and produce detailed project requirement documents.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, robust documentation, and best-in-class developer experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across product, engineering, and design to ensure capabilities, features and objectives align with strategic business objectives and user engagement goals.
  • Champion the user and developer experience through strong product thinking, usability improvements, and rapid iteration based on performance and partner feedback.
  • Function as the creative owner of the game projects, ensuring that each game is fun, exciting, and enjoyable for our users.
  • Review and evaluate game pitches from external developers, collaborating with internal stakeholders to greenlight projects that align with strategic goals.
  • Manage and coordinate with third-party development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Track project progress, proactively manage timelines, and ensure that milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage potential risks and roadblocks to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Regularly report project status to internal stakeholders, providing clear visibility into project health and progress.
  • Facilitate stakeholder reviews, collect feedback systematically, and integrate feedback effectively into ongoing game development.
  • Coordinate with external vendors to procure and deliver necessary assets to development teams efficiently.
  • Oversee the successful delivery and launch of games, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
  • Manage post-launch game enhancements to continually optimize performance, user engagement, and overall player experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 7 + years of professional experience leading creative projects in game development, particularly in developing small games or casual gaming experiences.
  • Strong technical understanding of interactive media platforms, SDK development, and documentation standards.
  • Demonstrated success in building or scaling platform tools for third-party developers, especially in gaming or entertainment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for translating complex technical concepts into accessible, partner-friendly documentation.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment between engineering, product, and external development partners.
  • Passion for innovation in gaming, interactive media, and the future of content engagement on connected TVs.
  • Passion for creating high-quality, engaging game experiences tailored for connected TV and Mobile platforms.

Compensation for this role, for candidates based in New York, NY, is expected to be between $140,000 ~ $170,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
