Are you a strategic thinker with strong FP&A experience and a passion for financial modeling? Our client in the Oil & Gas sector as a Financial Analyst – Commercial to join their team.
About the Role:
As part of our Commercial Finance team, you’ll play a key role in supporting decision-making across our business segments. This position focuses on forecasting, performance analysis, and delivering high-impact insights through advanced modeling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
Build and maintain advanced financial models to support commercial analysis and investment decisions
Leverage tools like Power BI and Alteryx to automate reporting and enhance data visualization
Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes
Prepare executive-ready presentations and dashboards to communicate insights clearly and effectively
Assist in pricing strategy, market analysis, and profitability optimization initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
~ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
~3+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Commercial Finance
~ Strong proficiency in financial modeling , with experience using Power BI and/or Alteryx
~ Prior experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, or a capital-intensive industry is highly desirable
