Reports to: Fabrication Lead/ Director of Manufacturing
Summary: Aid in the fabricating of materials to be used in the making of all Kirby Built product lines.
This position is located in Waukesha, WI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Set up and operates a variety of woodworking machines and use various hand tools to fabricate product from blueprints or drawing specifications.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instruction.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee must wear safety glasses at all times when operating machinery. Employee must use any safety guards and be aware of dangers of using machines and tools in their field.
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Employee may wear hearing protection if they desire.

Compensation Range:
$17-19.00 per hour plus incentives. No relocation benefits are available at this time.
