At Dog Academy, we offer a blend of self-paced courses, virtual training, and in-person sessions, and right now, we're especially looking for trainers to take on in-person sessions with clients in your area. Sessions happen at clients' homes or nearby public spaces—and you'll always be able to see the address and details before accepting a new client. You choose the sessions you want and the schedule that works for you. While session availability is dependent on client need in your area, there is no cap to how many sessions you can do so you are able to work as much or as little as you'd like. This is a 1099 contractor position without benefits. Pay rate is $70/session.

Requirements:

-Applicants) must be at least 18 years of age
-Professional Dog Trainer Certification preferred
-Deep understanding of dog behavior, body language and positive training methods
-Ability to nurture a relationship with each client, ensuring they understand the training process and monitoring their progress throughout the training process
-Strong attention to detail and ability to customize training plans at each session as needed
Responsibilities:
-Interact with and handle dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes
-Educate clients and improve the behavior and obedience of their dogs while strengthening their bond
-Provide training services at client homes or agreed upon public locations
-Adapt your training plan to fit the individual needs of each dog, their temperament and behavior
-Show compassion and provide stellar customer service to every client
-Maintain thorough communication with both clients and Dog Academy team
