We are currently seeking a Customer Sales Associate to join our Customer Service team at our Madison, Wisconsin office. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the positive and professional relationships Semex has built with our customers, breeders, distributors, and partners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys customer support and inside sales coordination.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the daily receipt and processing of orders and invoices.
  • Handling all interactions with customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reviewing order status, resolving customer issues, and providing suggestions on how to improve internal processes and enhance customer relations.
  • Providing support to all maintenance of customer and inventory accounts as well as compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Developing new sales opportunities by marketing, cold calling customers.
  • Assisting customers requesting Accounts Receivable information.
  • Support and actively lead incremental sales growth opportunities.
  • Analyzing sales reports.

What you need to be successful:

  • Three (3) years of customer service experience.
  • Dairy or beef industry background preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated initiative, strong work ethic and a desire to acquire new technical skills.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication
  • Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
