Job Description

Strong Infrastructure as Code experience in solutioning and coding using Terraform and Python

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 6-8+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
  • Proven experience as a software engineer or architect
  • Experienced with building CI/CD pipelines to execute across the full application deployment cycle
  • Proficiency in Docker, Git/GitHub, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Azure and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in CI/CD using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps CircleCl or similar systems
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk or similar
  • Experience using scripting languages and configuration-as-code best practices for automation and to create end-to-end solutions
  • Ability to write automation using one or more common scripting/programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Python, Perl, HTML, Cmake, YAML, JSON, or JavaScript
  • Experience integrating security practices into all stages of the software development lifecycle
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to communicate ideas clearly
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a strong focus on teamwork
  • We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer who is passionate about operational excellence through automation and engineering processes.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting and bug fixing on Linux and Windows operating systems to address code and deployment errors
  • Ability to work with other DevOps engineers and present ideas fluently and confidently
  • Need a senior resource who can hit the ground running with little training/ramp time
  • This includes the ability to develop clear, concise documentation. Experience coaching or creating Dojo's is a plus
