Muslim Belal is a British convert to Islam with a Jamaican and Chinese heritage. He is renowned for his unique style of poetry and rap which is both inspirational, captivating and entertaining. Having converted to Islam in 2002 Muslim Belal reveals his moving story through spoken word poetry. He has performed at major international events including Malaysia, USA, Canada, Norway, Sweden, Holland and London.

Muslim Belal is a man of many talents having acted in BBC films and theatre. He has also appeared on Channel 4 and BBC Arabic and made headlines in major newspapers including The Independent, The Voice and Flavour magazine. Muslim Belal a filmmaker and screenwriter received the prestigious Edinburgh International Film Festival.
