Haleh Banani has a Master degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Houston, graduating Magma Cum Laude with 18 years of experience working with couples and individuals therapy where she helps people suffering from depression, anxiety, eating disorders and self-esteem issues. She empowers her clients with unequivocal amount of enthusiasm, compassion and support.
Her articles have been published in magazines in Houston and Egypt. She was a featured expert on Al-Jazeera international, Huda TV, Islamic Open University, Mercy Mission and Bayinnah TV. Haleh is an instructor for Ilmflix and Qalam Institute. She was the first female to host a program for Al-Fajr TV called “With Haleh” which combines the principles of psychology and Islam to help people reach their full potential and overcome their challenges. She does skype therapy sessions with people from around the world saving marriages, building self-esteem & helping individuals in all their relationships.
Haleh is an internationally published writer and counselor for the website www.MuslimMatters.org She received her ijaza for the recitation of the Quran with Tajweed in Egypt. She was recently given the Icon Award representing America in Malaysia for her contribution in psychology & Islam. She recently started the program called 5pillarsof Marriage where it discuss the Secret to Finding Love & Compassion in Your Marriage. She has been married for Alhamdulillah 20 years with 3 precious children name Abdelfattah, Kareem, and Layla.
